What You'll Do

As a Legal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting attorneys and case managers by helping keep cases organized, progressing efficiently, and ensuring clients receive exceptional service throughout the legal process.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment with professionalism and urgency.


Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain case files with sensitive legal documentation
  • Perform administrative and operational tasks including, scanning, filing, data entry, and document management
  • Support varying departments throughout the life cycle of a personal injury case
  • Communicate with clients and other parties involved
  • Track deadlines, maintain accurate logs, and ensure file movement efficiency
  • Collaborate with department teams, Case Managers, and Attorneys, supporting file management and administrative tasks
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information
  • Provide exceptional internal and eternal customer service


Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a legal assistant, administrative, or related role
  • Prior personal injury experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • High level of attention to detail and follow through
  • Bilingual abilities highly valued, not required
