Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Case Manager/Legal Assistant to join our outstanding personal injury legal team. In this role, you will provide assistance to our clients, our lawyers, and anyone who contacts our law offices. You will work closely with our staff, communicate with clients an potential clients, medical offices, adjusters and others, confirm insurance coverages, manage medical care, resolve property damage issues, compile medical records and case materials, prepare settlememnt packages, negotiate liens and coordinate with our entire staff. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, very reliable and responsible, a good team player, familiar with case management programs like Case Peer,, and bi-lingual Spanish or Manderine Chinese. Competitive compensation with bonuses and raises, based on qualifications and performance, to be dscussed further at time of interview.
Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients and potential cients, insurance adjusters, medical offices and staff.
  • Organize case-specific documents, including medical records for settlment demand packages.
  • Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review.
  • Obtain, maintain and update documentation, case management programs and files
  • Provide general administrative support, including scanning, copying and filing, as needed.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Case Manager / Legal Assistant for at least two (2) years
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with document management experience, preferably CasePeer case management program
  • Profcient bi-lingual Spanish or Manderine Chinese language skills preferred
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, word perfect, casepeer case management program and other case management software
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong technology preferred
