Personal Injury Pre-Suit Paralegal - McKinney Office
Our legal team needs a diligent, organized, and experienced Personal Injury Pre-Suit Paralegal. You will work in a high-level and rapidly growing plaintiffs' personal injury firm with a heavy emphasis on strategizing with attorneys, coordinating with treating physicians, clients, and insurance adjusters, paying attention to detail, and treating each case uniquely to develop necessary evidence to maximize claim value for the client.
Work Location: In-person
Firm Compensation includes:

Responsibilities
โ€ข Handles new client intakes and questions
โ€ข Sets up injury claims and subrogation claims
โ€ข Assists clients with property damage questions and claims
โ€ข Assists with managing clients' medical appointments and communicates directly with providers
โ€ข Helps explain the process to clients and answer ongoing questions
โ€ข Develops case strategy with attorneys & manages clients throughout the claim
โ€ข Assists clients throughout the medical treatment process
โ€ข Obtains medical records, bills, and other evidence (i.e., affidavits and lost wages)
โ€ข Creates medical treatment summaries
โ€ข Obtains reductions of medical bills
โ€ข Prepares demand packages
โ€ข Prepares case for closing
โ€ข Creates a client closing statement
Qualifications
โ€ข Possesses excellent communication skills
โ€ข Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred
โ€ข 4+ years of personal injury law experience required
โ€ข Self-starter with a desire to be an integral part of a growing, very successful team
โ€ข Working knowledge of e-mail, Outlook, and SharePoint
โ€ข Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and work well with the team
โ€ข Possesses high-level oral and written communication skills
โ€ข Proactive, can-do Attitude
โ€ข Proximity to McKinney, TX. This is not a remote job
