A Perioperative Business Manager is a healthcare professional responsible for overseeing the business and financial operations of perioperative services, which include the areas before, during, and after surgical procedures. They manage budgets, staffing, supply chains, and ensure efficient workflow within the surgical department. Their role also involves analyzing financial data, implementing cost-saving strategies, and supporting clinical staff to achieve both quality patient care and operational goals. By balancing business needs with clinical priorities, they help surgical services run smoothly and cost-effectively.
