Job Summary

The Marketing Strategy & Performance Consultant supports the planning, measurement, and optimization of marketing investments across Farmers growth channels. This role is responsible for developing performance insights, forecasting business outcomes, evaluating marketing effectiveness, and identifying opportunities to improve return on investment.

Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Agency Partners, and Business Leadership, the Strategy Consultant helps drive data-informed decision-making by translating complex data into actionable recommendations that support profitable growth. The role combines strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and business acumen to ensure marketing investments are aligned with organizational objectives and delivering maximum value.

Essential Job Functions

Marketing Forecasting & Business Planning

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing planning and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor forecast-to-actual performance and identify risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate business scenarios and support strategic planning discussions.

Performance Measurement & ROI Analysis

  • Analyze marketing performance across channels, products, and lines of business.
  • Track key performance indicators, including volume, conversion, cost efficiency, and ROI.
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations for business leaders and marketing stakeholders.
  • Identify key drivers of performance and communicate findings to influence business decisions.

Investment Planning & Optimization

  • Evaluate marketing investment strategies and recommend opportunities to improve performance.
  • Support budget allocation decisions through financial and performance analysis.
  • Conduct channel, audience, and campaign evaluations to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Monitor market and business trends to provide data-driven recommendations on future investments.

Marketing Measurement & Testing

  • Support the prioritization, design, execution, and analysis of marketing measurement initiatives with Analytics and Media stakeholders.
  • Measure the business impact of marketing initiatives and provide recommendations based on findings.

Executive Reporting & Strategic Communications

  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and business reviews.
  • Synthesize complex analyses into clear, concise business insights and recommendations.
  • Support leadership with ad hoc analyses related to marketing performance, business planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Evaluate emerging marketing channels, customer acquisition opportunities, and growth initiatives.
  • Support business cases for strategic initiatives and marketing innovation.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to assess and scale promising growth opportunities.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, marketing strategy, financial analysis, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience developing business presentations and communicating insights to stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
