Job Title: PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC / Chandler, AZ / Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 18 months


Job Description:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience gathering and creating detailed business requirements for complex projects
  • An understanding of HR processes and data - PeopleSoft HCM familiarity strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to work with business and IT partners to collaboratively design solutions that meet business needs
  • Contribute to design decisions, draft detailed requirements documents, and create test plans & test scripts
  • Ability to act as a primary SME liaison between business users/Client, and IT project team
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills; experience leading large group meetings with attendees both local and remote
  • Ability to work with limited direction and supervision, ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand, assess, and work through complicated business scenarios or processes; outstanding problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present data and information effectively to all project stakeholders
  • An understanding of global HR practices and at a minimum an appreciation of the different HR practices in our various locations
  • Experience collaborating with international resources and the ability to work flexible hours to accommodate meetings in different time zones
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in a virtual collaborative environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of PeopleSoft functional design experience
  • In depth understanding of the various software development lifecycles (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Experience in the areas of Core HR, manager self-service and employee self-service
  • Experience working in PeopleSoft version 9.2 is a significant plus
  • Ability to lead and execute testing from end to end, which includes test plan development, test scripts, test execution, UAT support, and defect management
  • Demonstrated ability to work with team members at all levels and across functional and geographic lines
  • Self-motivated individual who is comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and presenting well thought out options and solutions to complex issues
