JOB DESCRIPTION:
Must have hands-on leadership experience in PBM implementations, not just support roles.
Should demonstrate deep PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager) domain knowledge (claims, formulary, rebates, network management).
Able to work independently, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional execution.
Must-Haves (non-negotiables)
  • 5-10+ years in PBM, health plan, or pharmacy operations
  • Led at least one major PBM implementation or transition
  • Commercial PBM experience (Medicare/Medicaid is a nice-to-have)
  • Hands-on experience with formulary, claims, rebates, and network strategy
  • Executive stakeholder management and vendor relationship experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Caremark or another large PBM vendor
  • Past experience with rebate negotiations or contract design
  • Exposure to Medicare Part D or Medicaid managed care
  • Familiarity with pre-authorizations, step therapy, utilization management workflows
