As Manager, Payroll at Spectrum, you will manage payroll procedures, oversee documentation and disbursement, and drive system enhancements for hourly and salaried employees. Your expertise will play a critical role in the integrity of payroll records and financial reporting, directly impacting Spectrumโ€™s operational excellence.


How Youโ€™ll Make an Impact

  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of hourly and salaried payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Manage payroll system setups, including pay rules in the Time and Attendance application, and handle all earnings, deductions and tax configurations
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act processes, documenting procedures and maintaining payroll records
  • Monitor federal, state and local tax withholdings, benefit contributions and deductions from paychecks
  • Coordinate with third-party tax preparers for timely and accurate tax filings and manage inquiries from taxing authorities
  • Ensure seamless integration of payroll information with the accounting system and oversee payroll account analysis
  • Direct the preparation and filing of reports to government agencies, organizations and employees, and recommend improvements to payroll methods and procedures
