What is a patient financial coordinator?

Patient Financial Coordinators are professionals who help patients understand and manage the financial aspects of their healthcare. They assist with billing questions, insurance claims, payment plans, and cost estimates for medical procedures. Their goal is to ensure patients are informed about their financial responsibilities and to help resolve any issues related to medical billing. By acting as a liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies, they make the payment process smoother and less stressful.

What are the duties and responsibilities of a patient financial coordinator?

The duties and responsibilities of a patient financial coordinator include assessing and providing financial verification and authorization for patients seeking particular medical services.
