Job description

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about helping patients navigate their orthodontic treatment? We're looking for an Orthodontic Finance Coordinator to join our Bentonville office team! This position plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth financial experience for our patients while working closely with our clinical and administrative teams.

What You'll Do

  • Verify orthodontic insurance benefits.
  • Prepare patient contracts, payment plans, and financial arrangements.
  • Submit insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and appeals.
  • Process insurance payments, EOBs, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage patient payment schedules.
  • Review patient balances and communicate financial responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with front office and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor outstanding insurance claims and follow up on delayed payments.
  • Handle patient financial questions by phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Assist with monthly account maintenance, refunds, and financial reporting.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in dental or orthodontic insurance and billing preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and private dental insurance verification.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
