THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE.

Healthcare Institution seeking a Patient Account Representative to handle Medical Billing & Collections. Individuals applying should have knowledge of Medical Billing and Collections.

We require the individual to be dependable, responsible, and be multi-tasked to help our department stay on top of billing and collections.

Job Duties:

  • Post payments daily
  • Bill, upload and correct claims in clearinghouse
  • Status unpaid claims and patient accounts
  • Balance and complete daily deposit
  • Process Refunds

Job Requirements:

  • Medical Billing and Direct Data Entry exp, Collections and all aspects of A/R cycle.
  • High School Graduation a must and some education/certifications in medical billing preferred
  • Must be proficient in Word & Excel.
  • Experience in a medical clinic, medical billing, A/R, collections (from insurance companies & patients), insurance follow-up and coding & verification. Behavior Health a plus
  • Team player attitude, energetic, able to multi-task, with a focus on excellent customer service are key.
  • Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
