Parts Associate (Earth City, MO)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional to help carry out the day to day operations of our parts group in Earth City. This role will oversee parts projects, parts transportation, and some project management. This role will provide industry training, career mapping, and potential leadership opportunities.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in replenishment of sold inventory.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory dollar levels and overall numbers
  • Assist in development of parts consignments.
  • Process customer orders via telephone, over-the-counter and utilizing automated equipment to complete orders.
  • Perform data entry functions pertaining to order entry and invoicing of parts orders.
  • Process shop requisitions and shop returns for work orders.
  • Assist service personnel with parts procurement
  • Receive parts shipments from factory into computer inventory and place on shelves.
  • Maintain all parts files.
  • Match parts department vendor invoices with purchase orders and receivers and forward to management for approval.
  • Assist in year-end inventory. Input data pertaining to count into computer system. Prepare reports for accounting department.
  • Work with all departments and employees to ensure quality of customer service.

Ideal candidate will possess
-Experience working at a material handling company or in the material handling industry
-Experience working in a parts department in the material handling industry
-Experience carrying out parts consignments
Minimum Qualifications
-1+ year experience working in a parts department
-Proficiently with the Microsoft Suite
