  • Mazda Parts Manager experience is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful automotive Parts Management experience
  • Deep understanding of Mazda parts operations, warranty parts processes, and manufacturer programs
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to hire, train, motivate, and hold a team accountable
  • Experience maximizing gross profit while maintaining healthy inventory levels and achieving inventory turn objectives
  • Proven success reducing obsolescence and managing inventory efficiently
  • Established relationships with local collision centers, independent repair facilities, body shops, and mechanical repair shops
  • Demonstrated ability to build, grow, and maintain a profitable wholesale parts business
  • Experience creating wholesale sales strategies and developing new commercial accounts
  • Strong understanding of outside sales, wholesale pricing, customer retention, and delivery operations
  • Experience with eBay Motors, online parts sales, and e-commerce platforms, with the ability to create and grow a profitable online parts business
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and departmental financial performance
  • Ability to analyze department financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Experience with dealership management systems and manufacturer parts platforms
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily operations of the Parts Department
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Parts Department team
  • Maintain proper inventory levels while improving inventory turns and minimizing obsolescence
  • Ensure the Service Department receives accurate and timely parts support to maximize technician productivity
  • Aggressively grow the wholesale business by leveraging existing relationships and developing new partnerships with collision centers, independent repair shops, fleet accounts, municipalities, and commercial customers
  • Personally develop new wholesale accounts and implement strategies that increase market share and department profitability
  • Build and manage the dealership's online parts business through eBay Motors and other e-commerce platforms, creating an additional revenue stream for the dealership
  • Monitor departmental financial performance, gross profit, expenses, inventory turns, and key performance indicators
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to retail, wholesale, and internal customers
  • Hire, train, mentor, and hold team members accountable for performance
  • Ensure compliance with Mazda standards and dealership policies
  • Work closely with the Service and Sales Departments to maximize dealership performance
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation package with performance incentives
  • Health, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Paid Vacation and Holidays

  • Opportunity to lead and grow one of Southern California's premier Mazda Parts Departments
  • A leadership team committed to investing in people, innovation, and long-term success
Why Mazda of Claremont?

Mazda of Claremont has built a reputation for excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous growth.
