Partnership Marketing Manager Job Description


The Partnership Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate partners while managing and executing contractual agreements for FC Dallas, Toyota Stadium, Toyota Soccer Center, and other properties as assigned, which includes fulfillment of all contractual assets and implementing creative marketing plans. ย Exceptional customer relationship management and inter-department communication are essential. ย The Partnership Marketing Manager will also support the Partnership Marketing Team with special events and activations, including player appearances, tentpole events, clinics and strategic initiatives.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Act as a key contact with corporate partner accounts, autonomously overseeing day-to-day relationships between partners and internal departments to ensure that contractual elements are properly implemented at all times
  • Work with partners to identify clear and measurable business objectives specific to their goals and โ€œwhyโ€ a relationship with FC Dallas, Toyota Stadium, Toyota Soccer Center, and other properties matters for the partner(s) in the marketplace
  • Create and present partner recaps following key initiatives, mid-season and post-season to tell the story of our partnership and share value delivered and key insights
  • Keep immaculate records on all account actions, including photographs, affidavits, event summaries and reports, and CRM/KORE maintenance to ensure information is accurate, deliverables are tracked and fulfilled, and account information is always updated
  • Develop and execute partnership activation plans that effectively leverage our assets and capabilities, build our partnersโ€™ brand affiliation and deliver on goals
  • Work collaboratively with team to achieve profitable long-term revenue growth
  • Assist department with special events, including planning, budgeting, execution, documentation, and follow-up
  • Game day and event responsibilities to include activation setup, client hospitality, and fulfilling partnership contract obligations
  • Facilitate consistent and professional communication with corporate partners and the department through all avenues of correspondence to plan accordingly for upcoming marketing efforts and campaigns
  • Maintain comprehensive communication with the Partnership Marketing and Corporate Partnerships teams at all times

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree
  • Minimum 4 - 6 years of successful Partnership Marketing experience with a major league professional sports team, agency or high-profile entertainment entity
  • Experience in client relationship management with a natural ability to develop a strong rapport and establish long-term relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong customer service skills and desire to always โ€œmake things betterโ€
  • Experience formulating marketing plans and promotions from development to execution
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment
  • CRM/KORE system management experience
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Photography and photo editing experience a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines
  • Exceptional problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
  • Excellent driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Bilingual a plus

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability toย lift upย to 25ย lbs.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions to include extreme hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions
