Partner Marketing

Meter, Inc

San Francisco, CA • On-site

$130K - $175K/yr

Full-time

Posted 11 days ago

Job description

Meter is a channel-first company. Every deal we win goes through a partner and we believe this is a significant lever for growth for Meter.
We recently announced we're expanding our investment with the launch of our Partner Growth Fund: a $100 million commitment available to qualified partners for partner-sourced opportunities, customer migrations, training, enablement, co-marketing, and development. This is the first installment of what we expect to invest in the channel over the next decade.
We're looking for an exceptional Partner Marketing Manager to accelerate this momentum, particularly to focus on our channel-wide campaigns and emerging partnerships. This is a pivotal moment in Meter's trajectory, and this role will play a central part in building the strategies, programs, and campaigns that scale our presence through partners. Your work will directly influence revenue growth, partner engagement, and awareness in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.
What success looks like
Within your first six months, you will:
  • Run the next iteration of our promotion around the Partner Growth Fund as a full-funnel marketing campaign to increase awareness and brand recognition within the channel, increasing partner applications by 20%.
  • Own our channel-wide partner comms strategy and execution.
  • Increase partner engagement and enablement through core resources like our Partner Portal and partner enablement programs.
  • Develop a partner onboarding nurture flow, with content created to support the early stages of the partner journey.
  • Become the expert on our emerging partners, deeply understanding their business models, audiences, and go-to-market strategies, aligning closely with sales to maximize impact.

What your day-to-day will look like
You'll be the point person for all channel-wide partner marketing activities, working in a highly collaborative role with your peers in marketing and partner sales to drive measurable results. On any given day, you might:
  • Partner with growth marketing and vendors to optimize ads to drive channel awareness.
  • Turn our partner messaging and value props into easily digestible content for the partner audience.
  • Collaborate with partner sales to develop messaging to enable co-selling motion through emerging partners like Microsoft, Lumen, and managed service providers.
  • Run initiatives to increase partner engagement, getting more partners to consistently leverage resources available in the Meter Partner Portal.
  • Work closely with peers on the partner marketing, enablement, and the greater marketing team to amplify their work across a channel-wide audience.

Who you are
This role is for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing strategy, partner enablement, and hands-on execution. You are excited to have an impact from day one and play a key role in defining how Meter grows through our partners.
  • Experienced in partner marketing, marketing, partnerships, field events, demand generation, or product marketing.
  • Proven track record of working directly with various types of partners in a B2B context.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships with both internal teams and external partner stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in parallel.
  • Comfortable operating within ambiguity.
  • High-agency individual with a builder mentality and a focus on solution.

Why Meter?
The internet runs the world. Every purchase you make, video call you join, it's all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven't changed for decades. They're brittle, complex, and surprisingly hard to set up in an enterprise space.
We started Meter to build better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up: designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive.
Our bet with Meter is simple: we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility..
Compensation
  • The estimated base salary for this role is between $130,000 - $175,000
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.

By applying to this job you acknowledge that you've read and understood Meter's Job Applicant Privacy Notice.
