Job description

Job Title: Manager, Partner Marketing and Enablement
Location: Nashville, TN - Hybrid schedule
Department: Marketing

About eCard Systems
eCard Systems is a leading provider of outsourced gift card solutions, serving over 100,000 merchants across restaurant, retail, hospitality, and service industries. We partner with leading POS and commerce platforms to deliver physical and digital gift card programs that drive revenue, loyalty, and cash flow for merchants. eCard Systems is known for deep integration, operational reliability, and partner-first execution.

Role Overview
The Manager, Partner Marketing and Enablement owns eCard’s partner-facing marketing strategy, positioning, and enablement systems. This role exists to help platform and POS partners attract, onboard, sell, and grow gift card programs more effectively.

This is a B2B, partner-led marketing role focused on leverage, clarity, and revenue enablement. It is not a demand generation, SEO, PPC, or campaign execution position.

The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, narrative discipline, and the ability to translate product capabilities into outcomes that partners and sales teams can clearly understand and monetize.

Core Responsibilities

Partner-First Growth and Ecosystem Enablement

  • Own the partner marketing strategy that supports partner acquisition, onboarding, enablement, expansion, and retention.
  • Develop partner value propositions, segmentation frameworks, and partner-facing journeys.
  • Create scalable enablement materials that make it easy and profitable for partners to sell and grow gift card programs.

Positioning, Differentiation, and Narrative Discipline

  • Own category framing, differentiation, and core messaging across partners, sales, and leadership.
  • Ensure message consistency across decks, product sheets, partner materials, website content, and external communications.
  • Reduce confusion in the market by maintaining clear answers to who eCard is for, what problem it solves, and why it wins.

Product Marketing as a Translation Layer to Revenue

  • Translate product roadmap, features, and releases into partner-sellable outcomes, use cases, and narratives.
  • Support go-to-market planning, partner launches, and product announcements in coordination with product, sales, and leadership.
  • Create enablement materials that connect product capabilities to merchant and partner value.

Revenue and Partner Enablement Effectiveness

  • Develop sales and partner tools that improve win rates, deal velocity, and partner productivity.
  • Produce battlecards, case studies, proof points, objection handling, and competitive clarity materials.
  • Support internal sales teams and partner sales teams with practical, reusable enablement assets.

Thought Leadership and Category Evangelism

  • Develop industry POVs, benchmarks, and narratives that position eCard as a trusted authority in gift cards and commerce infrastructure.
  • Support partner-focused content such as webinars, panels, LinkedIn thought leadership, and trade media engagement.
  • Package insights in ways partners can reuse in their own selling and marketing efforts.

Trade Shows, Events, and Partner Moments

  • Support partner-focused events, conferences, and sales kickoffs.
  • Develop event messaging, collateral, and follow-up materials in coordination with sales and business development teams.

Marketing Systems, Leverage, and Operational Rigor

  • Build systems for content reuse, enablement scalability, and repeatable workflows.
  • Leverage automation and AI-assisted execution where appropriate to increase output without increasing headcount.
  • Ensure marketing efforts scale cleanly as the partner ecosystem grows.

Collaboration and Execution

  • Work closely with sales, business development, product, and executive leadership.
  • Manage external agencies, designers, and freelancers as needed.
  • Prioritize clarity, leverage, and impact over volume.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Min 5 to 8 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in partner marketing, product marketing, platform ecosystems, fintech, payments, or SaaS.
  • Demonstrated experience in positioning, messaging, and sales or partner enablement.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with sales, partnerships, and product teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong prioritization and project management capabilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with POS platforms, payments, or commerce infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting channel sales or partner-led growth models.
  • Comfort presenting to internal teams and external partners.

Why Join eCard Systems

  • Play a central role in shaping how partners grow and monetize gift card programs.
  • Own high-impact work that directly influences partner success and revenue outcomes.
  • Work closely with senior leadership in a focused, execution-oriented environment.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
