Part Time (4 shift a week)Manager for Independent Restaurant

Havana - Walnut Creek

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our small, privately owned business. This individual will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, including staff supervision, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and overall efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management
Ensure smooth daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Monitor restaurant conditions, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory and ordering processes to maintain appropriate stock levels.

Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Schedule and manage team shifts to ensure adequate coverage and minimize labor costs.

Customer Experience
Cultivate a welcoming and high-quality guest experience, addressing customer concerns promptly.
Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service.
Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Financial Management
Manage the restaurant's budget, optimizing expenses and ensuring profitability.
Track sales and develop strategies to increase revenue, such as promotions and special events.
Handle Private Dining Bookings including sales/marketing of such business
Review financial reports, including income statements, P&L, and inventory reports.

Marketing and Community Engagement
Collaborate with the owners to develop local promotional campaigns.
Work with our Social Media Manager on photo shoots, promotions, and influencer visits.
Build relationships with the community and participate in local events to enhance brand visibility.

Compliance and Policy Adherence
Ensure all restaurant operations comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records for all operational activities, including sales, expenses, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Gene Manager, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of restaurant management, financial principles, and industry trends.
Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and oral)
Proficiency in restaurant management software and financial analysis tools.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights & weekends

Sample Schedule 30-35 hours per week

Thursday 3:00pm-11:00pm, Friday 3:00pm-12:00, Saturday 3:00pm- 12:00, Sunday 3:00pm-10:00pm
