Job description

At its best, hospitality is a form of applied attention.
It is the act of noticing—accurately and without assumption—
and then responding in a way that improves someone’s experience.
The Role

Becoming a Maitre'd at RVR means being the consummate professional: the way we speak to guests, the way we make every single guest that approaches the host stand feel like they're the most important person in the world to us, the art of moving along a lingering table, etc. All this while engaging with 300 to 400 guests per night, 7 days a week.

The right person has 3+ years’ experience as a Maitre’d in high-volume, fast-paced restaurants. You thrive under pressure, exude professionalism and charisma, and truly love creating memorable experiences for every guest. You know how to juggle the books all while making eye contact with the incoming guests. You manage all the incoming reservations and also know how to find the gaps in seating to find a table for as many walk-ins as possible.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Competitive hourly rate + 5pt tip share

  • Opportunity to shape the guest experience in a one-of-a-kind, fast-growing restaurant

  • Work with a team that values curiosity, initiative, and constant growth

  • Be part of a dynamic, creative environment where your contributions make a real impact
