We are currently seeking a hospitality-driven, experienced Maitre D’ to join our team.
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Maitre D’ plays a key role in setting the tone for the entire dining experience. We’re looking for someone who brings warmth, professionalism, and efficiency to the role—balancing a gracious demeanor with a sharp attention to detail and service flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests with warmth and genuine hospitality upon arrival and departure
- Manage nightly reservations and waitlists via Resy or OpenTable, optimizing guest flow and seating efficiency
- Communicate table statuses and pacing with servers and floor managers to ensure smooth service
- Maintain expert knowledge of the food and beverage menus, with the ability to assist in guest recommendations
- Support the front-of-house team in managing floor operations, special requests, and guest accommodations
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism, confidence, and care
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maitre D’ or host in a high-volume, hospitality-focused restaurant or bar
- Strong understanding of guest dynamics, pacing, and service coordination
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with a calm and welcoming presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Resy and OpenTable platforms
- Working knowledge of food, wine, and cocktail culture
- Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
