Restaurant Associate Responsibilities:

The Restaurant Associate is responsible for the preparation of food, complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and the established food production programs and procedures. Additionally, the restaurant associate is responsible for working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. The Restaurant Associate will report directly to the General Manager.

Restaurant Associate duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and service
  • Welcome guests to the restaurant and answer their questions
  • Adhere to all recipe guidelines
  • Preparation of food daily
  • Always keep work area neat and clean, clean and maintain equipment used for food preparation and cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Follow proper food storage, food handling, and food preparation standards
  • Maintain in-stocks
  • Actively seek out customers in store
  • Assess guests needs, remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases
  • Cross sell and suggestive sell products
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper guest service
  • Help team with packaging, cooking, cleaning, and any other job functions
  • Build relationships of trust with guests
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Follow personal hygiene and sanitation standards set by the health department and company policies and procedures

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with POS transactions
  • Customer service experience
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, bend, stoop

The Restaurant Associate is a full time or part time position and hours will vary
