Job description

Rula Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In partnership with Rula Technologiesโ€”a company dedicated to improving digital interfaces and user experiences through innovative technologyโ€”you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered mental health care using streamlined, tech-enabled tools. This role offers the opportunity to provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families across diverse backgrounds, while working in a flexible, remote environment that values creativity, teamwork, and continuous learning.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Rula Health, you will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and offer ongoing therapeutic support via secure telehealth platforms. You will draw upon modalities such as CBT, DBT, EFT, and family systems approaches to help clients navigate relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in our electronic health record system, upholding all ethical, legal, and HIPAA standards.
You will collaborate virtually with an interdisciplinary care team, which may include psychiatrists, primary care providers, case managers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic support for each client. You will handle crisis situations with professionalism and care, performing risk assessments, safety planning, and appropriate referrals when needed. Rulaโ€™s technology-driven infrastructure is designed to simplify scheduling, documentation, and communication, so you can focus more of your time on high-quality clinical care.
Rula offers a dynamic and inclusive culture where your clinical expertise and ideas are valued. You will have access to ongoing virtual learning opportunities, peer consultation, and resources to deepen your clinical skills and stay informed about the latest developments in telehealth and family systems work. As a part-time remote clinician, you will enjoy flexibility in scheduling within agreed-upon hours, while still benefiting from a supportive network and a stable, mission-driven organization.
The ideal candidate holds an active, unrestricted Marriage and Family Therapist license (e.g., LMFT) in the state of practice, has solid experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-forward environment. Experience with teletherapy and electronic health records is strongly preferred. In return, Rula Health provides competitive pay, eligibility for performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) options for qualifying part-time employees. This role is an excellent opportunity for a licensed clinician seeking meaningful, flexible work while contributing to accessible, high-quality mental health care nationwide.
