Senior Project Manager to perform as primary project manager, requirements tracking and light business process definition on multiple technology projects of varying size as assigned. Some assignments will be for projects in-flight. Project assignments may span multiple business lines across the county vs being dedicated to a single business unit. Projects typically require project team engagement across various technical functions including information security, infrastructure (cloud and on-premise), integrations/system interfaces, data conversion, GIS, and others. The project manager will work in a matrixed environment with project team members assigned by the functional managers as well as vendor solution providers.
โ€ข Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Required
โ€ข Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Background and Online County Certification Course
โ€ข 2-5 years exposure to Professional Business Analysis (PBA) processes and techniques
โ€ข Desired 2-5 years on a team providing project management and business analysis for a medium institution of 500 or more employees.
โ€ข Role will work within the IST Project Management Office comprised of a team of 3 full time and one part time project managers working under the supervision of a PMO Manager.
This will be a hybrid engagement with up to three days per week working onsite. However, candidate must be willing to accommodate onsite work as project demands dictate.

โ€ข Candidate will utilize Chesterfield County PMO control artifacts for managing project cost, schedule, and resources (human and financial). Monitors project costs closely during execution and applies inquiry and corrective action techniques to control them.

โ€ข Candidate must maintain personal mobile technology as a condition of employment.
