Job description

Location: HybridPosition Overview:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall administration, organization, and execution of designated projects/contracts, ensuring that project objectives are met within the prescribed timeframe and budget, while exceeding customer and company expectations. The PM serves as the overall team lead, making policy decisions, guiding the team, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of successful project management experience and mastery of core project management competencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead largescale power design and construction projects, including power plants (fossil, nuclear, renewable), transmission and distribution infrastructure, substations, or renewable energy projects (wind farms, solar plants).
  • Oversee daytoday management of projects and contract agreements.
  • Represent the company at progress meetings, design review sessions, contract negotiations, and openitem meetings.
  • Act as the primary liaison for communications with customers, Cube Root, employees, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Manage customer expectations regarding project deliverables.
  • Ensure the Quality Assurance and Safety of all project activities.
  • Think quickly and clearly to support project requirements in dynamic situations.
  • Monitor project performance and direct the development of necessary reports.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets, costs, schedules, staffing plans, risk assessments, contingency plans, and resource allocation for each phase.
  • Manage contracts and project activity to ensure compliance with internal and external obligations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for company leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, preferably in power or largescale construction projects.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects in a 24/7/365 operational environment.
  • Strong leadership, decisionmaking, and policy implementation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in budget management, scheduling, risk assessment, and contingency planning.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and safety standards in the energy/construction sector.
  • Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to relocate to the United States Virgin Islands after six months.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations as needed.
