Job Summary
The City of Sioux Falls, Siouxland Libraries, is accepting applications for Part-Time Library Support to work at the Ronning Branch.
Schedule: Ronning Branch: Thursday and Friday day shifts and Sundays, 5-16 hours per week
Siouxland Libraries is seeking passionate and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Library Support Staff at the Ronning Branch. Staff may also be assigned to work at other Siouxland Libraries branches as needed.
This role is all about creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where every guest feels valued. As part of our team, you will engage with a diverse community, provide exceptional customer service, and help guests navigate library resources with warmth and professionalism.
We are looking for team players who thrive in a collaborative setting and take pride in fostering a culture of learning, connection, and hospitality. Strong communication and computer skills are essential, as well as the ability to assist with the physical aspects of library operations, including lifting and moving materials (30-50 lbs.), pushing book carts, and remaining active throughout your shift.
