Pay Rate: $30.00 per Hour
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Training & Human Resources Coordinator to support employee training, onboarding, compliance initiatives, and HR administrative functions. This role is responsible for facilitating training programs, maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment activities, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in training delivery, human resources administration, employee onboarding, and payroll processing. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training programs in accordance with established curriculum and organizational requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions at designated locations throughout the region; travel to various sites is required.
  • Evaluate trainee progress and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Maintain attendance records and training completion documentation.
  • Assist with the development and enhancement of training materials, course content, and learning programs.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and annual mandatory training programs, including compliance and cybersecurity training.
  • Stay current on adult learning methodologies and training best practices.
Human Resources Support
  • Support HR with candidate and employee interviews as needed.
  • Assist managers with scheduling and conducting in-person interviews.
  • Maintain volunteer and intern personnel files.
  • Process background checks and verify references for volunteers and interns.
  • Monitor compliance documentation and communicate with managers regarding missing paperwork.
  • Prepare and submit training compliance reports to corporate leadership.
Payroll & Administrative Functions
  • Process bi-weekly payroll utilizing the organization's payroll system.
  • Review and audit employee timesheets for accuracy and approval.
  • Maintain records and reports related to payroll and training activities.
  • Manage training supplies, materials, and inventory.
  • Create employee email accounts, reset passwords, and assist with basic user account administration.
  • Monitor and respond to company email communications daily.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Report any safety concerns that may impact employees, trainees, volunteers, or the community.
  • Assist with special events, fundraising activities, and other organizational initiatives as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and projects assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Experience in training, human resources, employee development, or a related field.
  • Prior experience facilitating classroom, virtual, or group training sessions preferred.
  • Knowledge of onboarding processes, employee records management, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience processing payroll and auditing timesheets preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email systems, and HR/payroll software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to training sites.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
