Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check through the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS). This is a mandatory requirement for employment.
  • Previous experience in food preparation, preferably in a setting with dietary restrictions (e.g., healthcare, personal chef, allergy-aware cooking).
  • Knowledge of and commitment to strict food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification a plus, but not required).
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes with precision.
  • Reliable transportation for grocery shopping and commuting to the client's home.
  • Compassion, patience, and a respectful understanding of working with an individual with a disability.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Logistics:
  • Pay: $14.25 - $14.50 per hour, based on experience.
  • Schedule: Approximately 6-12 hours per week. Specific days and times are flexible and will be mutually agreed upon.
  • This is a part-time, at-will position.
