We are looking for a personable, motivated & fully licensed Christian mental health therapist to join our thriving group practice. There has been a pressing need from our vast referral base for Christian-based mental health therapy. Although some of our current staff are able to accommodate, we are unable to meet the needs of the community. We are seeking a Licensed Clinician who can offer patients a Christian worldview for their mental health treatment. The ideal candidate blends a Christian worldview with evidence-based and effective mental health treatment.

We are located in North Haven conveniently off of exit 10 on I-91. We offer both in-person and virtual therapy appointments. Our practice services various patients from varying backgrounds and age groups. The position is for W2 employment. The employee will be outfitted with a private office, company email, and company phone number. The employee will not be responsible for billing, referrals, insurance credentialing, or materials needed for treatment. The position is part-time with potential for full-time.
Those with professional specialties are encouraged to apply, especially those well versed in any of the following: Men's Issues, Women's Issues, Trauma (EMDR, IFS, SI, etc), Play Therapy. We are also looking for willing, trained, and motivated people to provide couples counseling or to work with Children 15 and under! Ideal applicants will possess the following:
  • Fully Licensed or licensed eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in Connecticut. ****Partially and Provisionally Licensed Candidates WILL NOT BE considered.****
  • A deep sense of compassion and insight into self to better understand how their emotions and thoughts influence patients' treatment.
  • Experience with Christian Counseling and/or training and education in pastoral/Christian counseling is strongly encouraged, but not required. Training and supervision in this specialty will be available to the candidate.
  • An extensive knowledge, understanding, and practice of and within Christianity and Christian culture.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt based on patient and practice needs.
  • A desire to continue to develop skills to accommodate patients' diverse needs.
  • Maintain a caseload of at least 21 patients (full-time), and 10 patients(part-time).
  • Strong organizational abilities to maintain sufficient case notes.
  • Work well with a team and under the supervision and direction of the practice owner.
  • Strong written, verbal, and emotional communication between patients and leadership
