Job Location –Downtown Los Angeles, CA

Type - Contract (6 Months)

Pay Rate – $50.00 Per Hour (W2 Only)

The Consultant is responsible for the proactive management of the program lifecycle. This
includes identifying roadblocks, engaging stakeholders across departments, and ensuring
the program’s continuous momentum. The Consultant is expected to function as the primary
driver of the CSAP, maintaining a high level of initiative to ensure all project phases are met
within the 6-month timeline.

The Consultant will provide expertise and active project leadership for the following:

  • Program Lifecycle Management: Drive the end-to-end implementation of the CSAP. This
    includes proactive outreach to departments, troubleshooting participation hurdles,
    and ensuring all project milestones stay on schedule.
  • Engagement & Recruitment: Actively recruit and vet "Security Champions" from various
    departments. This requires persistent communication and relationship-building to ensure
    a diverse and active ambassador network.
  • Content Deployment: Manage the rollout of engaging, video-based training content. The
    Consultant must ensure content is not only delivered but effectively utilized by the
    ambassadors to drive behavioral change.
  • Continuous Feedback Loops: Establish and maintain communication channels with the
    core security team and departmental ambassadors to provide real-time feedback,
    updates, and program adjustments.
  • Team Integration & Collaboration: Participate in all relevant ITA team meetings and
    contribute expertise to related cybersecurity initiatives as needed to ensure the CSAP is
    fully integrated with security policies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Proactively track ambassador activity and program metrics,
    intervening with support or new strategies when engagement levels dip.

Deliverables:
The Consultant is expected to produce and manage the following:
1. CSAP Operational Framework: A comprehensive guide covering program goals,
ambassador roles, and communication protocols.
2. Strategic Recruitment Log: Evidence of active outreach and a finalized roster of
departmental "Champions."
3. Ambassador Toolkit: A curated library of short, engaging content, talking points, and
presentation materials.
4. Incentive & Recognition Program: A functional system for rewarding ambassador
milestones to ensure long-term motivation.
5. Quarterly Impact Reports: Data-driven summaries of program progress, including
participation rates and measurable security behavior improvements.
6. Final Sustainment Roadmap: A transition plan ensuring staff can manage the
program independently post-contract.
7. CSAP Operational Desk Manual: A comprehensive, step-by-step "How-To" guide for
staff. This manual must include standard operating procedures (SOPs), contact
databases, scheduling cadences, and instructions on how to update program content. A

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or related
    field; students within six months of graduation may apply. Equivalent combination of
    education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Entry-level cybersecurity certifications are valued but not required:
    • ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
    • CompTIA Security+
    • CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CySA+)
  • Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into engaging, human-centric content
    for a non-technical audience.
  • Familiarity with modern cybersecurity concepts (SIEM, phishing simulations, vulnerability
    scanning) to respond to the advocates’ questions.
  • Understanding of fundamental network concepts, operating systems, and information
    security principles.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
