Job description

Job Summary:
Crosspoint Clubhouse is seeking a nurturing and faith-driven Infant/Toddler teacher to provide compassionate care for students 12 to 24 months in a Christ-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have a love for children, a strong commitment to Christian values, and experience working with infants in a childcare or ministry setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and loving care to infants, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met.
  • Foster a warm and nurturing environment that reflects Christian values.
  • Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that promote sensory, cognitive, and motor skill development.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space.
  • Comfort and soothe infants as needed, including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, needs, and milestones.
  • Pray for and with the infants, incorporating biblical stories, songs, and simple prayers into daily interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with other caregivers and to ensure a positive and cohesive classroom experience.
  • Adhere to all safety and childcare policies set forth by Crosspoint Clubhouse.

Qualifications:

  • A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christian values.
  • Previous experience caring for infants in a childcare, church, or educational setting.
  • Basic knowledge of infant development and appropriate care techniques.
  • Infant and child CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry infants and perform physical tasks related to infant care.
