As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a respected cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, assist visitors with professionalism, and communicate clearly while representing Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

Pay Rate: $21.31 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout grounds, buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with directions, and support orderly visitor movement during services, events, and daily operations.
• Observe site conditions and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations that could impact visitors, staff, or property, following post orders and established response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
