JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Abington's Business Program in the Division of Social Sciences, Business and Education is searching for part-time faculty to teach courses in the Business Discipline including Management, MIS, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, and General Business Administration starting in August 2025. Currently available courses include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • BA 243: Social, Legal, and Ethical Environment of Business (4 credits), Thursday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • BA 364Y: International Business and Society (3 credits), Tuesday 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • ECON 102: Introductory Microeconomic and Policy (3 credits) Monday 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • ECON 102: Introductory Microeconomic and Policy (3 credits) Tuesday and Thursday 4:35 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.
  • MIS 250: Intro to Problem Solving with Spreadsheet Analysis and Information Systems Management (first seven weeks -- 08/25 to 10/10) (3 credits) Tuesday and Thursday 3:05 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. + web session (Hybrid course).

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Master's degree in a business related discipline is required.
  • Prior college teaching experience and relevant professional work experience is strongly preferred.
