Job Title: Packaging Machine Operators
Location: Hayesville
Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:30am–4:30pm; overtime as needed on Fridays, Friday 4:30am–12:30pm (No weekends)
Job Description:
The Gluer Level I is responsible for visually inspecting and packing blister cards into shipping cartons, ensuring each product meets customer specifications and is free from any defects. This position supports the Gluer Operator and Gluer Level II team in productivity and quality assurance, and is trained to feed and pack off the gluer machine, as well as cross-train on the packing line as needed. 
Essential Job Duties:
  • Inspect, sort, and pack blister cards, ensuring no marks or scratches
  • Monitor feeding and folding materials; report issues to the gluer operator
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining gluer machinery
  • Maintain organization of production area, return unused packing supplies, and prep for next jobs
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills
  • Ability to quickly recognize defects, apply learned skills, and adapt to new situations
  • Basic counting and math skills
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to stand/walk in steel toe shoes for most of the shift
