Job description

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler with forklift operating experience to work in our warehouse and coin processing facility. They will play a pivotal role in the production process with timely loading, unloading, and transport of materials throughout our facility, in addition to updating material inventory and assisting in the preparation of coins before being sent to the press.
Responsibilities: Material Handler
  • Safely operate all material handling equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, and wash machines.
  • Timely and efficiently load, unload, and transport raw material blanks for staging in production areas.
  • Monitor and record blank coin inventory and report count to production manager.
  • Assist Operations department for large production orders by performing preparation steps which may include prep washing blanks, and monitoring dipping and antiquing processes.
  • Effectively work 8-10-hour shift, with extended periods on their feet and routinely lift 15-50lbs.
  • Maintain department workstations and uphold housekeeping standards
  • Position requires the use of PPE, including steel-toed footwear.
Preferred Qualifications: Material Handler
  • Minimum 1 year experience in safe Stand-up Forklift Operation. Ideally 3+ years.
  • Effectively communicate and understand verbal as well as written instructions.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
