We're looking for motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Associates to join our team in a fast-paced environment! In this role, you'll be responsible for weighing, measuring, and packaging cannabis products for resale, helping ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Packaging Associates regularly perform tasks that require remaining in a stationary position, moving and positioning themselves as needed, communicating with team members, and using tools or equipment to prepare, place, and package products. The role also involves handling materials and packages weighing up to 25 pounds on occasion.

This position requires strong attention to detail, including close visual inspection and the ability to adjust focus. Packaging Associates are expected to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and quality, while ensuring all products are accurately packaged and tracked in accordance with company policies and state regulations.

The hours for this position are 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Monday - Friday.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ability to work with and around managers, supervisors and other employees.
  • Perform a series of preventive and general maintenance tasks on production equipment and tools and facility.
  • Weigh, count and store finished products ensuring that all pertinent information is recorded in logs.
  • Accountable for weighing, labeling, packaging, and product logging for accurate inventory control.
  • Responsible for proper use, safety, maintenance, and sanitation of designated equipment.
  • Process finished product to desired company standards following quality control standards.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and material.
  • Ensure appropriate storage of products.
  • Ability to adapt to change and possess a positive, professional attitude.

Essential Job Functions:

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift packages/boxes, which are generally under 30 pounds.
  • Ability to crouch, stoop, reach, etc.
  • Manual dexterity, including frequent and repetitive use of hands and fingers in a fast-paced production environment.

Skills and Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Cannabis knowledge is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. preferred.
  • Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
