Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for individual clients.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Maintain accurate and current clinical documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) software, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and holistic client care, coordinating treatment plans and sharing insights across disciplines.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay informed on the latest in mental health research and treatment methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an LPCC, you will work closely with clients from varied backgrounds, many of whom may have limited access to mental health services. The client population will include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship difficulties. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by these clients, you will employ a compassionate, individualized approach to therapy.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California is essential.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical or outpatient setting.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health care and practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in using EMR software and technology relevant to mental health practice.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary range of $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
