Position Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations in Dublin, Georgia. This pivotal role requires a dynamic and experienced leader who can optimize efficiency, ensure safety, manage inventory, and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and supply chain operations, with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and direct all outbound warehouse activities, including storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions and work alongside the inbound operations manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and federal, state, and local laws.
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimal utilization of warehouse equipment and facilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. (Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven experience managing a team of 190 or more employees.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMOS) and inventory control principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Google sheets, slides, docs).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Team Management & Development:
    • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates, supervisors, and leads.
    • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and develop individual development plans.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and continuous learning.
    • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and labor allocation to meet operational demands.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
    • Oversee regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
    • Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all warehouse operations adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary training and corrective actions.
    • Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
    • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
    • Implement new technologies and best practices to modernize warehouse operations.
  • Budget & Financial Management:
    • Manage the warehouse budget, control expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Monitor and report on operational costs and variances.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Transportation) to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
