This position is open to applicants or individuals who are located in or around Dallas,Tx and able to work 1st shift with flexibility for longer hours based off of business and peak needs.
The Role:
The Outbound Operations Manager is responsible for leading outbound operations including picking, packing, kitting, and triage. This role ensures order fulfillment is executed with speed, accuracy, and efficiency across a multi-client 3PL environment supporting E-commerce (DTC) and/or Wholesale (B2B) customers.
Key responsibilities include managing automated pick modules, driving performance metrics, and leading teams across multiple shifts. The ideal candidate is a results-driven, motivational leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and is committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead all outbound operations including picking, packing, kitting, and triage to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

  • Manage and develop outbound supervisors and staff, fostering a high-performance team environment.

  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), units per hour (UPH) targets, and quality standards.

  • Plan and schedule labor based on forecasts, capacity requirements, and performance metrics.

  • Train teams on warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Maintain organized and efficient picking locations for high-SKU environments.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and throughput.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and other departments to resolve outbound issues and support service delivery.

  • Support company growth by identifying capacity constraints and recommending operational enhancements.

  • Mentor and develop leadership talent within the outbound team to support performance, engagement, and career growth.

Who You Are:

What You've Done:
  • 5+ years in fulfillment operations.

  • 3+ years in outbound management or equivalent leadership.

  • 3PL or high-volume fulfillment experience

  • WMS advanced knowledge

Physical Demands:
  • Shift: 1st shift

  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

  • Able to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).

  • Able to lift and carry up to 30-50 lbs. on occasion.

  • Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.

  • Able to work overtime.
