Senior Operations Manager

McKesson is seeking a results-driven Senior Operations Manager to lead multiple functions within a high-volume distribution center. In this strategic leadership role, you'll oversee daily operations, develop high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, service, productivity, and operational excellence.

This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact while leading leaders in a fast-paced supply chain environment that helps ensure patients receive the medications and healthcare products they depend on.

What You'll Do
  • Lead warehouse and distribution operations to achieve safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost objectives.
  • Develop and coach managers and supervisors, building a strong leadership pipeline and engaged workforce.
  • Drive operational excellence through KPI management, workforce optimization, and data-driven decision making.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve workflow, inventory integrity, and overall distribution performance.
  • Lead change management efforts that support business growth and operational transformation.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, safety, and high performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in distribution, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven success leading leaders in a high-volume, multi-shift environment.
  • Strong experience driving continuous improvement, operational performance, and employee engagement.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and people leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with JD Edwards, Labor Management Systems (LMS), or warehouse automation technologies.
  • Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement certification/experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
