Thompson's continuum of care encompasses three domains: early childhood, family stability, and mental health. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. What will you do as a Case Manager?

  • As a Case Manager in the Florida Case Management Organization (CMO), you will provide dependency case management services to families whom have verified abuse history and an open dependency case. This consists of providing services/linkage/coordination care of high need youth in out of home care and engaging kin and fictive kin adults to increase protective capacities and ultimately provide a stable safe home for the youth served.
  • A typical day as a Case Manager will include managing crisis, linking youth/caregivers to service providers, writing court reports, testifying in court, and completing face to face engagement with youth/family in the community. As a Case Manager, a large amount of time is spent face to face with high need teenagers, work hours vary based on client need, and includes an on-call schedule for after hour coverage (nights/weekends).

CM Tier 1-$ 23.56 hourly

CM Tier 2-$ 24.76 hourly

CM Tier 3-$ 25.72 hourly

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
  • All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
