The Job:
As an Order Planner, you'll be part of our team working as an on-site employee. You'll get to:
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating the distribution and shipping of product to customers in an efficient and cost-effective manner, while meeting or exceeding the customer's expectations.
  • Responsible for providing world class customer service throughout the organization, and will be driven to continuously improve processes to get desired results.
  • Release customer orders.
  • Plan shipments based upon order due dates and customer expectations.
  • Track on-time shipment and fill rate performance on customer orders.
  • Prepare metric reports to show performance vs. goals and report out to management.
  • Create countermeasures to address areas preventing goal achievement.
  • Manage backorders to ensure timely shipment.
  • Liaison between the MTD sales team and Operations for order information and part availability.
  • Responsible for providing feedback to customers on part shipments and order status/tracking.
  • Consolidate shipments when available to reduce freight costs.
  • Responsible for daily 6S activities, such as housekeeping, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and any appropriate paperwork/check sheets.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.

The Salary range for this position is $45,700.00 - $73,600.00
