  • The candidate should know ERP Oracle Fusion Finance and Payroll modules.
  • Good in developing reports and also has good functional skills to troubleshoot the issues.
An Oracle Fusion Payroll Techno-Functional Analyst bridges the gap between HR/Finance stakeholders and IT. Able to configure payroll systems, design integrations, build reports, and troubleshoot data or system issues within the Oracle HCM Cloud. 10+ years of Techno - Functional experience in Oracle Fusion Payroll Cloud Core Functional Skills
  • Payroll Configuration: Expertise in setting up enterprise and workforce structures, pay frequencies, payment methods, element eligibility, and deductions.
  • Balance Definitions & Logic: Deep understanding of payroll balances, Year-to-Date (YTD) feeds, retroactive processing, and gross-to-net calculations.
  • Regulatory & Tax Reporting: Understanding of localized payroll tax setups, statutory reporting, and year-end processes.
  • Payroll Lifecycle & Flows: Managing and troubleshooting the end-to-end payroll cycle, including QuickPay, pre-payments, costing, and general ledger (GL) transfers.
  • Testing & Documentation: Executing Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Core Technical Skills
  • Fast Formulas: Writing and debugging custom Fast Formulas for complex payroll calculations, absence accumulations, and element eligibility rules.
  • Data Migration & Integration: Utilizing HDL (HCM Data Loader) and HSDL (Spreadsheet Data Loader) to migrate employee payroll history and workforce structures.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • OTBI (Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence) for ad-hoc reporting and dashboard creation.
    • BI Publisher for complex, formatted outbound payroll documents and pay slips.
  • HCM Extracts: Building complex extracts for outbound integrations to third-party vendors (e.g., Benefits providers, Tax agencies, Child support , Deferred comp vendors , ADP , Pension systems ).
