Full‑time, permanent position – 39 hours/week
• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Summer schedule:
• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Salary: Starting at $70,000 per year, with adjustment based on experience

Your Role

Are you known for your hands‑on leadership and strong organizational skills? Do you enjoy being at the heart of operations and contributing directly to day‑to‑day activities?

We are looking for an Assistant Operations Director who will play a key role in supporting and coordinating operational activities, working closely with the VP of Operations.

Your work environment includes:
• A distribution center at the head office equipped with an automated system (ASRS)
• A satellite warehouse in Plattsburgh, United States
Main Responsibilities Production

• Supervise the assembly cycle of PPE products for the Wilkuro and Oshatoes brands
• Support teams in achieving operational objectives
• Participate in planning and meeting production timelines
• Monitor inventory and ensure inter‑warehouse replenishment
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable regulations

Maintenance and Infrastructure

• Assist in monitoring the proper functioning of facilities and equipment
• Oversee the preventive maintenance program
• Collaborate with suppliers, participate in negotiations, and finalize agreements
• Coordinate maintenance work and improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, and Strategic Support

• Contribute to the implementation of QHSE best practices (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001) on the floor
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage consumable purchases and ensure availability
• Work closely with the VP of Operations to support strategic priorities
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor to support teams
Required qualifications

• College diploma (DEC) in administration, industrial engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in operations, production, or maintenance
• Functional English, spoken and written (communication with Plattsburgh)
• Available for occasional travel to the United States (by car)
• Hands‑on leadership, practical mindset, and strong team spirit
• Ability to work in a structured ISO environment and contribute positively to change
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards
• Strong adaptability and initiative
