About GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC GLOVIS EV Logistics America, is an integrated logistics company located in Savannah, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). GLOVIS EV Logistics America was established on October 6, 2022.

Summary: This position will work inside the HMGMA Assembly Plant, ensuring smooth operation of the lineside operations by facilitating material replenishment in a timely manner,

Responsibilities for Operations Liaison:

  • • Liase between Glovis EV and (Ops and PC Control), ensuring part distribution to designated assembly line locations, facilitating line operations.
  • • Mitigate line downtime and detect wrong part delivery by ensuring line support and escalate delivery of replacement parts.
    • Monitor line inventory and research low inventory to coordinate timely replenishment deliveries to avoid line disruption.
    • Communicate with CC leadership by updating the team on daily issues and potential risks
    • Audit various dollies/totes to mitigate issues with missing/wrong parts as needed and communicate findings to CC team members.
    • Work with lineside team members/leadership to support proper part handling/management and avoid damage claims against Glovis EV.
    • Supervise Glovis EV personnel assigned to duties at HMGMA facility.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications for an Operations Liaison:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
    • Prior customer service experience, preferably in a third-party logistics/manufacturing environment.
    • Experience working in a fast paced assembly or logistics environment.
    • Prior customer liaison position highly preferred.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
    • Must be self-driven, detailed oriented, and can react quickly to solve problems
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities
    • Team player, willing to support activities to drive great customer satisfaction
  • Physical Demands for Operations Liaison:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
    • Ability to safely use and operate Powered Industrial Vehicles in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Ability to Bend, turn, and use peripherals as required to operate equipment safely within company standard operator procedures.
    • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing up to 50 lbs., depending on the location, throughout shift.
    • Able to work in a warehouse environment for up to 8-hour shifts, and any overtime hours if applicable.

    The estimated base hourly rate for the Operations Liasion is $25.96 an hour. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
