Position: Plant/Operations Director
Location: United States, , Ontario

Responsibilities:
 
Oversee all plant operations which include production, quality assurance, maintenance, warehousing, and safety.
Develop and implement strategic plans to meet production goals and support business growth.
Ensure compliance is followed with all food safety regulations, quality standards (e.g., SQF, HACCP, GMPs), and OSHA requirements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Foster a positive, performance-driven culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and safety.
Build and develop strong leadership teams through coaching, training, and performance management.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Supply Chain, R&D, HR, and Finance to align plant operations with company objectives.
Manage plant budgets and capital expenses effectively.

Qualifications:
 
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a plant-level management role.
Strong knowledge of food safety systems, lean manufacturing principles, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and complex operations with a hands-on, data-driven approach.
