Location: Pelham, AL | Schedule: 1st shift, 7am to 4pm | Payrate: $18.91

Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with an industry-leading HVAC manufacturer to find an Operations Coordinator who will play a critical role in supporting daily service operations, coordinating technicians, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service. If you enjoy keeping teams organized, solving problems, and making an impact behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As an Operations Coordinator, you'll be the operational backbone of the service team, helping ensure technicians, customers, and internal teams stay connected and on schedule. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the second point of contact for incoming service calls by answering office phones and assisting customers.

  • Schedule and book Time & Material (T&M) service jobs.

  • Order parts and issue purchase orders for T&M work as needed.

  • Dispatch service technicians and coordinate schedules as required.

  • Process and track material returns, ensuring parts are returned to the Return Center (RC) promptly.

  • Return customer calls and follow up on service inquiries when appropriate.

  • Maintain an organized warehouse by sorting and relocating parts (no heavy lifting or equipment operation required).

  • Support daily administrative and operational activities to keep service operations running efficiently.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the HVAC industry.

  • 2+ years of experience in dispatch, operations coordination, administration, or a related support role.

  • Previous dispatching experience.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent planning and time-management abilities.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with standard office software and administrative systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting field service or technical service operations.

  • Familiarity with purchase orders, parts ordering, and material return processes.

  • Customer service experience in a service-oriented environment.
