TRISTAR is seeking an Operations Analyst II professional to support U.S. Navy Electromagnetic Warfare Division at NSWC Crane (on base). This position will provide operational analysis, system expertise, and coordination with government and contractor teams involved in Electromagnetic Warfare systems such as the AN/SLQ 32(V)6.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject-matter expertise on Navy Electromagnetic Warfare systems, with emphasis on AN/SLQ 32(V)6/7.
  • Support system operations, maintenance coordination, readiness assessments, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Assist government leads with technical analysis, system utilization reports, and operational recommendations.
  • Maintain awareness of fleet requirements, mission readiness needs, and system capability updates.
  • Assist with the development, coordination, and delivery of training content, both shipboard and classroom based.
  • Support training evaluations, scheduling, documentation, and improvement of warfare area qualifications.
  • Provide onsite support using tactical simulators and training devices when required.
  • Work directly with government customers to track requirements, review statements of work, and support contract deliverables.
  • Coordinate with engineers, technical writers, SMEs, and leadership to support development of technical materials and fleet processes.
  • Contribute to ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) data collection and labor market inputs for planning and forecasting.
  • Support recruiting and onboarding coordination for expanding program needs.
  • Produce technical summaries, status reports, and operational documentation for leadership review.
  • Assist in maintaining long-range training and program development plans.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • 5+ years of experience in Navy operations, Electromagnetic Warfare, or shipboard tactical systems.
  • Experience with AN/SLQ 32(V)6 or related EW systems strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently at a fast paced government site with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency with Navy training standards, readiness documentation, or warfare qualification processes.
  • Familiarity with intelligence systems, ELINT applications, or EW threat analysis.
  • Prior sea duty or shipboard operations experience is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher but will substitute education for experience.
