Job description

Accounting & Office Assistant
SmartTalent is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting & Office Assistant to support daily accounting, administrative, and retail operations for a well-established retail business. This role is responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, maintaining financial data within QuickBooks, and supporting office operations for the business. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and understand the unique demands of a retail business. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth communication between vendors, management, and store personnel.
LOCATION: Redmond, WA
SCHEDULE: Part-Time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm
PAY: $21 - $22 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Verify invoice details, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues with vendors
• Enter and maintain financial data within QuickBooks and other company systems
• Assist with account reconciliations and recordkeeping
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets as requested by management
• Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems
• Assist with inventory-related recordkeeping and retail reporting
• Provide general office and administrative support to the management team
Qualifications
• 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration experience
• Previous experience working in a retail environment required
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
