Position Overview

Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking an office manager to support our SDA South Operations. A successful candidate will be able to work in a high paced environment, deliver quality products, and address multiple requirements. The candidate can apply their organizational skills to help solve complex issues and ensure the office workflow continues even during high demand activities. Duties include:

Responsibilities
  • Oversee general office operations.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance activities with external organization.
  • Manage supplies and oversee life/safety management.
  • Assist in developing special event requirements such as time and place, location, duration, number of attendees, security requirements
  • Arrange for appropriate conference rooms/facilities and prepare meeting places in accordance with acceptable protocol and security procedures such as seating arrangements and security verification
Required Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • 5 years direct experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic IT and facility management experience.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
