Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Construction Office Manager II reports to the Senior Construction Office Manager and takes daily directions from the Construction Superintendent/Site Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions for assigned jobsite office trailer.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with Senior Construction Office Manager and Site Superintendent to manage daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow on a single assigned jobsite
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including contracts, change orders and invoices
  • Assist in setting up vendors at assigned job sites
  • Collect time sheets and enter into system as directed
  • Collect, review and file daily JHAs
  • Order material and consumables required for all site operations
  • Work with Construction Planner to maintain updated drawings and project files
  • Assist in budgeting and financial tracking for installation projects and report progress to the Construction Planner
  • Assist site EHS Manager and QA/QC leads to ensure staff compliance and proper record keeping
  • Assist Site Superintendent in preparing change orders with appropriate photos and back up information
  • Facilitate site meetings and prepare and record meeting minutes
  • Work closely with site EHS Manager to record all safety and training records for site team
  • Work closely with Site QA/QC Leads to maintain appropriate records
  • Facilitate lessons learned process and communications to Aftermarket leadership
  • Participate in weekly construction calls to report site operational successes and concerns
  • Any additional duties as assigned by TAS
JOB SKILLS:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

EDUCATION & TRAINING:
  • High School diploma plus construction office management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration is a plus
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5 years of experience in construction office management
  • Proven track record of collaborating with various construction disciplines
  • Ability to travel domestically on short notice
  • High energy, driven individual that communicates and interacts well in a team environment
  • Results oriented individual with good verbal and written communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Position is at least ~50% at a desk working with a computer in construction site trailers and requires full time presence at assigned job site locations. Position includes developing potential customer relationships and/or coordinating TAS project site teams and customer contractors. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions and outdoor construction site environmental conditions.
