Position Summary

TheDivision of Rheumatology is seeking to hire a work-study student, toperform a variety of officeand clerical duties to support the Unit Administrator as well as Faculty.This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment. The selected candidate will assist with a variety of general office duties and contribute to the day-to-day operations of the division. Responsibilities include, but notlimited to, answering the phone, copying, scanning, filing, databaseentry, confidential record keeping, supportwith special events, errands, processing mail, and/or any other miscellaneousjob-related duties as assigned. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team player who demonstrates:
  • A professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently
  • Must exhibit a professional demeanor, have appropriateoffice etiquette, organizedand task-oriented, and must be responsible for completing assigned tasks, withaccuracy, and meetingdeadlines.

Typicalwork hours will be M-F, between the hours of 8:00AM - 5:00PM. Work schedulesare flexible and willbe worked out with the supervisor before beginning employment. Must be able towork a minimum of 15-28hours per week. Applications are encouraged from allstudent-employment/work-study eligible students.Strong preference will be given to individuals that are work-study awarded.
