Position Description
TEAMSTER-HAUL TRUCK DRIVER
IGE is a rapidly growing construction organization that focuses on excavation along with sewer and water utility installation.
Summary
This position will be driving off-road haul trucks on job sites. Excellent driving record and safety are key skills for this position.
Duties include:
  • Driving truck to designated destination.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure all is in working condition including; tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water and fluid levels
  • Keep truck clean and in working order including lubricating, fueling and maintaining
  • Ability to follow directions and instructions

Position Requirements
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience such as in the forestry industry, farming and/or operation of heavy equipment will also be considered.
Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate with other team members.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Current Driver's License, High School Diploma or Equivalent, CDL if operating on road equipment that requires such.
Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and move operate with legs and feet. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment - While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employee is equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
